More pictures snapped en route to the hotel. This is a small sampling of homes in the Cairo area. We saw many many apartments such as this one, all appear to be continually under construction. The metal rods are left sticking up at the top in readiness for the next level which will be built when needed. With sixteen million inhabitants and an additional three million commuting to Cairo each day one can certainly appreciate the continued need for housing.
A section of all housing from the entire trip would be interesting, but since I started this chronologically, I'll just continue in that manner. Know though, that there are more houses coming as well as more flowers, more temples, more water, more pottery and more candid shots of our group!
